Abraxus is one of my fav albums. Wore out my original copy
and bought a 180 gram reissue.
a bunch of nice sounding stuff. Nice that I'm finally able to actually listen to file music for the first time...

I just finished watching "looking for Johnny", the latest documentary on Johnny Thunders.  If you don't know Johnny thunders, look him up.

Johnny Thunders - Hurt me (Vinyl) (Import) - Easy action records

Boy is this thing cut well.. Johnny thunders acoustic songs, recorded very "intimately" -- Favorite tracks include "Diary of a Lover", "You can't put your arms around a memory", "Joey" (bob dylan cover), "I like to play games", Eve of Destruction (cover) -- Kind of depressing album but fantastic

" I only play RnR to make the kids dance" - Johnny Thunders

Going through the archives and stumbled upon
" Otis Redding the Jimi Hendrix experience. Album is live
Recordings from the 1967 Monterey Music Festival
And is the concert that launched Jimi Hendrix to
stardom and exposed the non R&B world to Otis...

Not the worlds greatest recording but fabulous music
You'll be able hear why the concert was so famous.

Reprise Records 2029

a bunch of nice sounding stuff. Nice that I'm finally able to actually listen to file music for the first time...

Jim, I have that album form when it was new and agree the tunes hold up well.  amazingly, so has the condition of the record itself.  How well Joe Walsh has held up is another matter.
Mac stuff, Sony HDR-F1HD AM/FM/HD tuner, Denon DRS 810 cassette, Denon CDR-W1500 CD recorder, Music Hall MMF-9 w/B&O MMC2, B & O 4002 w/B & O 20 CL, Revox A-77
