Recent find and my first Cure release I've owned.  Seems like I know most of these songs.   Pristine first pressing.

Beatles LOVE in surround.   Lots of stuff in surround since I hung the B&W Rock Solids.   I still can't believe what they do for their size.

More surround tonight after getting home from the fireworks.   Steely Dan - Gaucho, Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms ("Ride Across the River" in 5.1 is breathtaking, the only way to hear the track) and the Alan Parsons quad mix of DSOTM.

I wish I could pack up this system and take it to every one of your houses so you could hear it.   I think I am crazy for being so impressed by what these tiny speakers do.   And I know the EmpTec sub made the rounds on the board.   You guys may not care for it because it doesn't go to 10Hz to shake the room with the dinosaur steps in Jurrasic Park, but man, a kick drum really sounds like a kick drum on it.   I'm still quite thrilled with my little surround system.

Always a very good thing when you're thrilled with your own system!  Congrats  Mark!
a bunch of nice sounding stuff. Nice that I'm finally able to actually listen to file music for the first time...

Gale and I were never neat to begin with, but with the granddaughter it has gotten completely out of hand.   My house is a disaster area.   I don't think that everyone would enjoy the visit, but for anyone who is game, just shoot me a PM.

From the Crate & Barrel sale.   Cover says mono and it sounds mono.  Very quiet pressing,  but the recording is so so IMO. Missing bottom octave mojo.

Blu-Ray audio is great.   No special players or fiddly menus.   Clearmountain did the surround mix and it is really good.   A little formulaic, but I'm okay with that.   "Jammin'" is especially good in 5.1.   You really appreciate how intricate the percussion on that track is when you have different parts coming at you from four different speakers.   Even the Blu-Ray box sized book is nice.   Lastly, I found it on eBay for $12.   A recommended purchase.

STAL   I can just imagine ....too funny.  Had our two grand daughters ( 4 & 5) overnight the other day and it took us 2 days to clean up.... I'm still finding glitter...  BUT we do not wash the hand prints off the glass table and sliding door for a quite a while after a visit....

Yes, but you and your wife aren't part of the problem.   My wife and I are.   The granddaughter is the current stressor, but having a very stimmy special needs son really doesn't inspire order.   When you know that anything could go flying at any time you tend to worry less about keeping stuff in it's place.
