Just an FYI  I was in the Attic today and they had quite a few RSD releases all still priced at the original selling price.

The Steve Gadd Band RSD release is just awesome. Great music, exceptional pressing / mastering. So good it'll make anyone's system sound better lol

Along those same lines, picked up the Tommy Bolin live release "Taste" . And if it wasn't in poor taste (reference the complete title) , I'd say it sucked. Has to be one of the worst record titles ever, in addition to poor selections/ poor recordings/ poor remastering etc. If that was the best they could do, they should have left them in the can lol  I like his music but this is a waste of $.

Picked up a few new releases recently, and the one I've fallen in love with is  Nils Lofgren  Blues with Lou. Makes me remember why I've been a fan for such a long time now.  Not the ultimate recording or pressing, but what few shortcomings it has, are much more than made up by the songs / music/ writing. A great listen.... will be in regular rotation. Jim

Following up on the Doctor John theme, I pulled out New Orleans Piano, by Fess, aka Roy Byrd, aka Professor  Longhair.

Great Crescent city R & B.

 Solstice -Ralph Towner on ECM (West German pressing)

Picked up about 25 mint ECMs last Monday.   A friend bought a 500+ lot of LPs that included about 250 ECMs.  I'm a long time fan so these are getting some heavy rotation.  Some Jarrett, a few Towners , some DeJohnette, Abercrombie, a couple Kenny Wheelers.  Should keep me busy for a while.
