Sir Thrift-a-Lot:
Chet Baker and Strings - an exceptionally clean first from 1954 I found at the thrift.   The charts are a bit dull for my tastes but my wife is liking it a lot.

Jim Pittsburgh:
Found this very interesting album at HPB the other day.... it's called 'Round Midnight. It is 6 artists, separately, playing the same Thelonious Monk song called 'round midnight. The album starts off with Monk, then Miles, Stan Getz, Wes Montgomery, Bill Evans, Art Pepper, and lastly Ron Carter. Pretty cool... you'd never recognize it's the same song with a few of them. 1986 Milestone Records
