Ajaye, if you do rip this LP, PLEASE let me obtain a copy of it.
I have it on CD, but, again, the quality is very poor. I don't see how the vinyl copy could sound worse.

No problem. This is one of my all time favorite NY (by way of Ohio!) "punk" albums. If you look at the back of your CD, it probably says in the credits "special thanks Bob Clearmountain." He actually played bass on the album because Magnum quit or got fired or something. I wish he engineered it too, I had higher hopes for this "exact replica of the original release." or however Rhino words it.
Reverend I think is pretty much confirming my suspicions, just a poorly engineered record.
Well, what I have is a CD that was ripped from the original at 128kb/s, so on top of poor mastering, it's just poor quality.
I don't suppose you own any Rocket from the Tombs, do you? They never officially released anything, but, high quality bootlegs are existent, although rare.
