I've read a biography or autobiography on Warren Zevon.  He was actually a real asshole and miserable most of his life.

I'll Sleep When I'm Dead by his ex-wife Crystal I'm guessing.   I did some sound work for the estate and she and I are Facebook friends.

Great album... one of the first 10 (or so ) CDs I bought back in the day, and my first replacement of one format for another.

I saw Warren play solo acoustic at Graffiti way back and saw him at Rosebud probably solo but maybe with a sideman there.  Big fan from way back. Read the book by his ex wife.  Good insight into his life which apparently included some OCD that involved buying lots of black t-shirts when he'd go shopping while on tour.

I actually hear only a slight difference between it and my "MASTERED BY CAPITOL" Harvest.   That's why I didn't mind letting it go.   Some may say that my system isn't resolving enough to properly highlight the differences, but I suspect at this point it's my ears that aren't resolving enough.   Either way, I suppose it makes it easier to enjoy what I have.
