I have never tried this tech, and now I notice that Verizon FIOS has some programming in 3D available on demand (HBO, etc.). I am tempted to get an emitter and a pair of glasses to test them on the Mistu DLP projector. Anyone have experience with this? Is it worth doing?
Thanks,

Don't waste your money.

Anyone have 3D headphones? :D

I didn't much care for 3D in the theater and don't plan to invest in it at home.

I have a Samsung 3d smart tv. They have the active glasses. It is really cool to watch them in 3d, however I found there was not much of a selection of 3d blue ray movies to choose from. I watched the Fright Night remake, and after a scene with a fire the embers did look very lifelike coming out of the screen at me. At the price they are now it wouldn't be a bad investment if there were more movies to watch.

I will search for a used pair to try. God knows I waste money on beer, why not on a pair of glasses to test the current state of 3D crappiness.

Money spent on beer is not a waste ;D
