Title: New on the forum.
Post by: Klipschmann on April 14, 2013, 08:30:36 PM
Not new to Mid Fi  I dont consider myself Hi Fi because most or all of my equipment is solid state.  No 5K turntables or cd transports.  I just like taking non functioning equipment and making it work again.  This does not always pan out.  As I told one member of the forum anything can be fixed given time, money and knowledge.  Is it always worth it, no I have alot of unfinished projects.  So I turn to my second passion Klipsch speakers.  I build replicas of the classics and rebuild some beat up speakers with new hardwood.  Next project is to rebuild a pair of Chorus II's.  OK enough for now, thanks for letting me join in the fun.

Welcome to the forum.

You don't need tubes for hi-fi sound! Do you need a carburetor to make an engine fast?

I'd love to see some of your replicas.

Enjoy the VHF community!

I LOVE Klipsch stuff.   I cut my teeth on a pair of LaScalas.
