Here some pics of my two Sunfire 300~2.
-
Very nice system. But, are you done now?
-
No! Well for the next month or so. Something else will come along. I could go for another Sunfire Sub. LOL
-
Hey T. what are you doing with the Theil, TFM-55 and all the other goodies you have?
Also you should seek help! You and Tommy have a serious OCCD problem..
-
The Thiels are in the HT in my downstairs game room. The TFM 55 is now powering them. OMG they sound even better now with the 55 on them. I had a TFM 25 on them and they sounded good but the 55 kicks ass!
-
How many systems are you running? You got it bad...... :o :o
-
Did you replace the bad mid yet??? ;)
-
Did you replace the bad mid yet??? ;)
No but it still sound dam good.
BTW, how many names are you going to go by?
-
Three. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
-
You should make a beemers417. This way no one else will and you can do Good, Bad, Ugly and Insane.
-
If someone were to impersonate beemers417 we have the authority.
-
yeah! what he said. :P
-
damn do these Reel to Real legacy bad boys sound good. 8) Don't worry Mikey, you get them when I croak.

Great Job On Getting The Amp Tom. I'm Happy As All Hell For You.-------BILL
-
Tom,
Those Al-III's look like the ones I sold last Summer to a friend in New York. I miss those beautiful speakers!
-
They are a wonderful sounding speaker. I heard a set about a year ago. Tom, OCCD, made a set for Marty and color matched them to his wifes request. They came out great and I had a chance to hear them and just had to have a set. A few months later I came across this set on craigslist and snatched them up.
-
Okay....I got the extra shelf for my audio rack and I am 90% hooked up now. I just need one cable to get the Sunfire hooked back up and it should be here in about an hour.
-
:o :o :o :o :o

It is an okay stand. Not the best but not bad either.

The one good thing about it was it was modular. I was able to add a shelf so I could get the second amp in there.
-
Everything Just Looks Fabulous, Tom. WOW ! 8)----BILL
-
Well it has been a while since I really bought anything for my systems, so I had an itch that just needed to be scratched.
-
As Darth Vader said to Luke Skywalker... "Impressive, most impressive."
-
Very nice... Does that mean you will be selling one of your 300x2's??
If so PM me
-
I have no plans of selling any Sunfire amps at this time. This amp will be replacing my two TFM-15's and TFM-25 in my HT.
-
:DWay To Go Tom. That's Awesome To Say The Least My Friend.
----Bill
-
Well I added some new stuff to my system.
1. Sunfire Signature 600

Nice Tom, bet it sounds great!!
-
Thanks everyone for the very nice comments. I have been wanting a 600x2 for a while now.
600x2? :o Have a spare 300x2 lying around? 8)
Yes and no. I have two 300's. One has the same problem yours does and the other I am not going to part with. I find it too convenient to have a backup Sunfire in case I blow one up.
I do have a Carver TFM 55 I will be putting on the market to sell.
-
Very nice setup! :o
-
8)Impressive, Most Impressive. ;) :D----------Bill

I wondered where those speakers went... They are excellent when properly positioned.
Is that a True Image amp? :o
Excellent system T.
-
Very good pick up on the amp. It is a True Image. I snagged it off of eBay about a month ago. It is a great amp. 125wpc of class A power.
-
Tom.
Very nice systems, looks like you picked up a set of Cherry 305's I hope
you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed mine.
Brian
-
did you get a set of 305's?
-
Are those things 2 ways, Tom, or are there drivers I can't see in the photo?
How do they sound?

There is a side firing woofer in each cab. They have a weird vent in the back, kind of like a T-line but not quite. Awesome tweeters valued in the 2-300 range. They crank too. We tried them out on my old Hafler 500 and had the old shop shaking.
Sorry Tom, I know the question was directed at you, but I saw it first :P
-
did you get a set of 305's?
Yes, they are Bob Carvers 305's with the KT120's in them.
-
Tom
Your systems look great!
I also use various Squeezebox products throughout my house. I was wondering what file format you use for streaming?
Ron
