Title: eBay is evil.......
Post by: bmwr75 on July 28, 2010, 10:37:30 AM
......I sold three items on eBay recently and they took 13-16% of the proceeds in fees.  Think that will be pretty much my last sale on eBay.

They are getting out of control. Between epay and paypal fees, it is getting so it is not worth it anymore. I sold my entire Pioneer collection on ebay in the last 2 months, it cost me almost $300.00 in fees.....

Not trying to defend what they are doing but they do a pretty good job of generating traffic so some slub will buy your crap!  I forget the numbers they posted a while back to original hits to bids to sales and it was amazing.  I will see if I can find that again.

That said....eBay does suck sometimes.

I think it was ToyMaker that told me this, E-bay owns craigslist.  Wait till they start charging there also.
