Okay, mass confusion here. WHO is "Elan Home Systems" and WHAT has become of Bob Caver and Sunfire Corporation? Who is supporting Carver equipment? Sunfire?
Thanks,
Lyman

Sorry but I don't know who Elan Home Systems is.
Bob Carver sold Sunfire. He still works for them in their R&D.
Out of Warranty Sunfire and Carver equipment can be service by http://www.ritasvintageaudio.net/. (http://www.ritasvintageaudio.net/.)
Hope this answers your questions.

A little google-fu reveals that Elan home systems (A manufacturer of Multi-room audio/video systems) is part of the Elan group which also owns Sunfire, and Homelogic - A manufacturer of IP based home control systems.

Thanks. I was not aware that Bob had sold Sunfire, which would explain why support at Elan Home Systems had no clue when I asked questions re the TFM series of Amps.

OK, so what is the rest of the story? Is Bob retiring, or has he just tired of the business world? Is he going to restart Carver, I heard he owns that name again?

Sunfire is sold, and Bob is semi retired. He is still involved with R&D for Sunfire. The Carver name is also retired. However, there will be a rebirth of carver Silver Seven tube amps in the near future. They will be under the CARVERaudio name. Bob, James, and Dave are working on it. ;D
