Title: Greeting from the Rocky Mountains!
Post by: GINOVINO on February 17, 2014, 04:01:57 PM
Just joined this August group to find out whats going back EAST! I'm a transplanted retired New Yorker which gave up the rate race and taxes back in New York. Once my Children Graduated , got planted and began earning serious money... We put the house up for sale and moved out here to the Denver area. ( and never looked back).

I am a retired VERIZON EXEC of 42 yrs. A electronics hobbyist ( including Ham General class license), Kit builder, music lover and avid AUDIOPHILE! For nearly 28 yrs shared ownership in a very high end Audio Salon out on Long Island, N.Y.  28 yrs came and went and we decided to finally wrap it up and retire.

I amassed a cadre of top of the line gear which is all in the "10" operationally and  8-10 ratings cosmetically now considered valuable vintage. I am prudently selling each piece off. Some on EBay, the FINE gear to private buyers.

Pm me to find out what I have remaining....

As for my music tastes--- A lot of vinyl.....no more Reel to Reel or cassettes, tough to get quality blank tape.... Personal system: Thiel 3.7's via Kimber 12TC to Bryston 7b SST's mono blocks, AR & Bryston Preamps Via Kimber & Siltech, VPI TNT with all the bells and whistles using Grado Reference, Clearaudio Maestro. Tuners- Vintage Sansui T-9900 & T-919, Kenwood  KT-917(available) and a recently departed KT-600. Receivers Vintage Sansui G-901(9000) & Kenwood Kr-9050 (available). Nitty Gritty record cleaner.

Plus 2 @ 5 & 7 channel surround systems with Yamaha & Rotel etc.

So there you have it.... Enough to make a blind man cry...

Hello, I have some high-end audio stuff that I plan to keep as a reference.
I will never sell my Acoustats or my Audio Research stuff.
But I have a few things I may sell.
