Title: My last couple trips to Vintage HIFI
Post by: Falcon on April 05, 2010, 11:32:53 PM
Well, my last two trips to see Tom have been good. I got some new toy's.
First trip got me a HK pa-2200 power amp, very nice sounding 100w.p.c., and a Nikko Beta 20 pre- amp that is fantastic. I cant say enough good things about this beta-20. WOW. Superb pre-amp :D :D :D The HK power amp is also very good, with plenty of headroom.
My last trip I ran into Rev, and was lucky enough to buy his Polk Audio SDA-CRS speakers. Excellent speakers, they sound great and look great, thanks to Tom patching a few holes where they were hung from a ceiling... Tom, thank you. wonderful job. Rev thank you for the great deal on a great pair of speakers.
I also got from Tom a Carver TFM-25 power amp. Way to much power for my needs, but a superb amp!!! in excellent electrical condition... and good cosmetics..
 Thank you both very much..
