Title: My New Primary System
Post by: mikey813 on June 30, 2010, 07:57:46 PM
My new primary system is my Onkyo M-5000, Onkyo P-3200, Technics SL-PD807, [smg id=105] http://vintagehifipgh.com/forum/index.php?action=mgallery;sa=media;id=105;preview (http://vintagehifipgh.com/forum/index.php?action=mgallery;sa=media;id=105;preview) Sansui FR-D3, [smg id=106] http://vintagehifipgh.com/forum/index.php?action=mgallery;sa=media;id=106;preview (http://vintagehifipgh.com/forum/index.php?action=mgallery;sa=media;id=106;preview) and Bose 501s. [smg id=107] http://vintagehifipgh.com/forum/index.php?action=mgallery;sa=media;id=107;preview (http://vintagehifipgh.com/forum/index.php?action=mgallery;sa=media;id=107;preview) I really enjoy this system. It is a great setup and sounds amazing. The Bose 501s are not very good looking but they sound great and are nice fixer upers. Please tell me what you think.

Mikey the big Onkyo is awsome!  The rack mounts are cool.  Onkyo had a power amp with HUGE meters (forget the model) I'd committ a crime to get my hands on one of those!  Congrats on the nice setup!

That'd be the M-504 (see my pictures) and the 506/508/509/510.

The 504 and 508 had the same meters. The 506 and 509's used different meters yet. The Grand Integra 510, well, if you find one of those, I hope your credit rating is solid. :)

The setup looks fantastic Mikey. What kind of binding posts does that amp of yours have on the back?

Thanks SunnyDaze.  ;D ;D ;D I think it has speaker clips. Also, that is one great amp you have. Those things sound great and look great to.

Thanks vstarkwell.  ;D ;D ;D They are great speakers. Some of the things they needed was a new direct energy control and the radioshack subs that where in it did not last very long. So now it got another pair of radioshack woofers that sound fantastic. Other then that they are great. I will probably re-veneer them.
Thanks,
Little Mikey
