so try and match up the boxes of tubes to the tubes in the console. if that is a full replacement of New Old Stock Tubes that may be worth the $25 (probably more but dont go out and buy a new car just yet....).

kinda sucks he wants to keep the cabinet, it looks like it has potential.

if you hack of the power cord i would be interested in it, i collect the plug ends for antique fan and lamp projects.

I just saw one just like that, but I can't remember where.   It was a Philco (IIRC) with missing glass and a scratched up faceplate, and the guy wanted stupid money for it.

Almost looks too roomy on that chassis to be a philco, but I am usually wrong

Yes, Sylvania, not Philco.   Now that I see the front, that appears to be the same model.

Thats clearly a Zenith radio and the rectifier tube is missing.
