Title: For Sale: NAD 7125 Receiver. (yes, the 4th NAD)
Post by: ataudio on February 13, 2012, 11:03:30 PM
For Sale: NAD 7125 Receiver.  Very nice cosmetic condition.
This unit has just one small issue.  The tuner is .15 mhz off.
Example: WDVE is 102.5.  In order to "center tune" the tuner you need to tune to 102.65.
The unit will lock into stereo at 102.5 but the correct center tuner frequency will be 102.65.
Honestly, you cant hear the difference. Its sound just perfect.  Just like the 7020 I have listed
(actually every NAD I have listed) the sound is superb. 25 w/ch and it cranks.  The amp section
is very very nice.  Because of the tuner issue I was hoping for $60.  One other thing...
NAD undersized the heatsink on this unit.  It runs pretty warm.  I have a small muffin fan that I wil include to keep the unit cool.  Just set it behind the unit blowing across the heatsink and no worries what so ever.
