Hey Guys,
I have run out of room in my house and decided to sell my Van L speakers:
-Transmission-Line design
-3-way with forward firing mid and tweeter, side firing woofer
-I believe it has Vifa tweeters
-Upgraded crossover with caps hand-selected by John Van L (desiger)
-Chip in rear corner of the one speaker (bearjew) : )
-Adjustable output
They were purchased from Tom, I know a few others on the board have had them as well. Very nice sounding speakers, I ran them on my 20-watt carver tube with great success. Strong imaging
Asking $350, come have a listen if you're interested. No pressure whatsoever
Check out John Van L's new designs here: http://www.vanlspeakerworks.com/ (http://www.vanlspeakerworks.com/)
manufacturer/designer's contact: johnvanl@sbcglobal.net

I have literally never touched those speakers before. So whoever is telling you I chipped them is full of shit. I have seen them, but have never touched them. You'll be hearing from my attorney.

They lived at my house for a while... I purchased all the new caps from JVL and installed them; very nice speakers, for sure.
I know from whence the chips came but twas before me!

for how much that would cost me, I could just own a pair of Van L's instead :P
