Title: Cheap line conditioners
Post by: Reverend on April 26, 2012, 12:35:28 PM
I thought i'd share this as I think these work pretty well.  I've picked up several Tripp Lite Line Stabilizer/Conditioners on CL and ebay for roughly $20-$30 and they do an excellent job.  If you don't want/have the money to spend on a line conditioner, this is one alternate that has worked well for me.  Not the best looking things, not fancy component size or rack mountable, but you can paint the cover which makes a big difference.  I've seen 2,4 and 6 outlet models around this price range.  In my opinion, you can't go wrong for the money.

Thanks for the tip Rev. I'm gonna pick one up and give it a try. Have you heard significant improvement using these?

We had older wiring in our last house, they seemed to help a lot.  Our new house has new wiring so I don't see any immediate improvements but I still continue to use them.

My gosh, I have sold a bunch of those in my line of work. I don't really need conditioning, would they work for surge suppression? They should shouldn't they?

Great tip
