Replaced the sl-2000 tweets in my polk SDA-2B's last night with the RD0194-1 replacement.
Nice improvement over the originals. Much smoother and detailed. Loosing the 3k and 7K spike really ups the detail and brings out the lower midrange which these cabinets really emphasize.
Thanks F1nut for your input.

That was a nice upgrade for a pair of Monitor 5 jr. that my son is still using.

Agree.
Have either you or Jesse tried the felt ring mod on the EDO194 tweeters? I bought a pair and never installed them, now I don't have the Pols any more. ???

Do you mean the Armacell weatherproof strips as speaker gaskets? If so, yes. It's better than the original gasket material. Less air leakage which is critical for a closed speaker with a passive radiator. The best mods are the crossover and the steel "rings" the couple the speaker to the baffle. Polk SDAs also benefit with an upgrade of the interconnect cable. Basically a wire upgrade but it does make a discernible difference. I have done them all. SDAs rock!

Carl, he's talking about the felt diffuser rings. I tried them years ago on a pair of stock SDA 2B's. I don't recall the details, but they came off.

Forgot to say, GraphicFX glad you like them.
