I got the Prototype, serial #1. Made in the mid 90s Designed by Damien Martin, built by Jerry Crosby (CAW) (11.94), modified from revision 1.5 (11.94), to 1.6 (6.99), to 2.0 (9.00), to 3.0 (8.04) by Bob Crump (Tg Audio). Signed by all. There was only 75 ever made, 35 of which got upgraded to 2.0 and as far as I know, less than 5 got upgraded to 3.0. The 3.0 rev includes: 2 power supplies one analog, one digital; both High Isolation Ei Transformers and Schottky rectifier diodes along with Nichicon Muse Caps... into shunt regulators... REL Teflon Trim Caps...Resista Resistors throughout (same as Blowtorch/Vendetta)...TG Ac wiring into Switchcraft IEC, DC wiring is TG, output signal wire is Bear Labs (same as Blowtorch), replacing almost everything on the boards but the chip set. Amazing build quality, weighs in around 25 lbs! This is audio art and if I get around to it I will write a review. Here is the teaser... it easily replaced my Melos Max1 and the CD80.
Enjoy the pics and thank you for looking. Nick

Better than the CD80, that is something. But also very cool that it is a rare item and it is well documented.
-
So when are you going to try to buy it pepe?
-
If I'm not mistaken, it doesn't do 24 bit. If I'm not mistaken, I suspect Pepe wouldn't be in the market for it.
-
I am using the Oppo 105 DAC (which does pretty much every format including SDS) and a Focusrite 2i2 (which is also ADC and I now use for drops and to run Room Eq Wizard). So what do you use Sheevs?
-
Sorry essa this gringo doesn't have the pesos you do. My Jensen sounds good enough that because I have 1000 dollar interconnects and a gold plated plug.
-
Actually the Focusrite is quite inexpensive. That is one of the reasons I recommend it.
-
What an impressive looking piece of equipment! GLWTS
-
Is this a sale?
-
No, its not for sale.
-
Sorry Nick! LOL! I thought you were posting it to sell.
-
Nice pickup Nick. Better sounding then a CD-80? That's pretty impressive.

Hey Nick
I wonder how it is going to stack up to the Melos Max , that shipped today.
Should be at the shop by Thursday.
Hope you really like it.
