Mark came down from Tenn. yesterday and spent some time with us. He has been building/tweaking his preamp that we will hopefully be building at this years fest. It sounds really good,,you just have to get your ears on it.Vocals are outstanding--bass--wow. Anyhow,,just a pic or two.
Did I say this thing is a Giant Killer?
Attaboy Mark !!!

Very cool George!
Are those transformers mostly empty space with small coils? What are the tubes?
-
Carl,, I did not peek inside,,but knowing Mark,, they are mostl llikely,,pretty heafty trannies,, the tubes on the outside are "voltage regulators",, the signal tubes are 9 pin 12B somethings,,, this thing runs with the big dogs too.!! Hopefully I will own one (after building) at CF this year-- why don't you come on down and stay a wekk or two? You would be in heaven!
