Those are supposed to be one of Sonys better offerings.  Always wanted to hear a pair, just to know what they sound like.

How did you like them Graphic.

The sound they produce is great, but I like a fuller sound. These are pinpoint accurate, to the point of criticizing just about every note. The transmission line design is true to itself, producing bass that extends way beyond the cabinet. Impressive from a small 8" rear firing woofer.

To be honest, I just never bonded with them. Not my kinda sound.  But in all fairness to them, My room is small. perhaps with a different amp, and a larger room, they would have shined.  The build quality is superb. Knocking on the side of the cabinet, is like knocking on a cinder block. This is inherit in the design of a Transmission Line speaker. Cabinet resonance is a no-no. They are heavy and somewhat imposing.  I enjoyed them, just not enough.

Don't let the Sony badge fool you, These are not in any way your typical early 90's rack system speaker

I hope this is an adequate explanation.

Cheers,
Andrew

Someone got a deal then thats for sure.  I know what you mean about bonding with the sound and it being something that you can enjoy.  There are good speakers out there that just arent my flavor either.  Though they may sound good, just arent my cup of tea.

Know what you mean there.

I'll miss them mostly due to their rarity, and fantastic detail.
