Check out http://www.beersince1933.com/. (http://www.beersince1933.com/.) See if your local beer store does buisness with them and they can order you better beer.
Mikey, 3 Sons dogs and suds in wexford has beer tastings every Thursday night.
They are a six pack shop with hundreds of beers, and you can mix/match six packs.
Its a little more expensive, but worth it for the variety, and you don;t have to
worry about sinking $30 into a case that you don't like.

Thanks for the link T. Looks to be the closest on the retailers list is Atkinsons in Millvale. When I go visit my Dad in the hospital I will stop there.
Thank you..
I just tried their site with M$ IE and it displays correctly.
Must be "Optimized" for it only. ;)
Put yout left hand over your right eye and you will be fine. ;)

It did work for me correctly. 90% of the world uses IE and 99% of PGH people use IE. Only wacked IT geeks use Firefox or other browsers to surf the internet.
Not that I like IE, I just hate it when web pages don't work right because of that.
I use Firefox, heard of IE. never any of the others

La Fee Absinthe Parisienne

Brought a bottle of absinthe back from Europe quite a few years ago. Think there is still only 1-2 shots missing out of it.
Those who have tried it, please do tell. What are your thoughts about this legendary drink?

I can certainly understand that. It is an extreme drink.
Are you familiar with how to prepare it for drinking? It should not be served straight from the bottle...
Out of curiosity, what distillery was it produced from and how old is it?
Coffee.
It ain't noon yet out here on the left coast ! :D
Anyone here tried the Sam Adams 'Black Lager'? I picked up some for the game today (yea Clemson) and found it to be OK. It is not a Dunkel style (which is low on my list as I am a hop head) but more of a stout with a little hop flavor. As a rule, stouts have little hop flavor and get the taste from the roasted malt. All the stouts I make are of course highly hopped, and this is a milder version of them. I think they have another winner in this one. It is just a tad thin, but I like it! I guess I need to get in a few cases as I suppose this is seasonal.

Depends on what you are chasing it with.... hops and another plant''s 'buds' both look suspiciously similar and can create similar flavor/smell profiles!
