Title: Boredom = System Photos.
Post by: SunnyDaze on August 10, 2010, 12:59:37 AM
I think I'm done playing the component shuffle game for a while (unless Mike decides to unload that Dynaco FM-3). Here are some pictures.

Para-dig-em. The previous owner left explicit instructions. "Don't have kids!"

If anyone can etch an "1138", I'd be eternally appreciative.

"Extract a usable signal!", replies the clever machine.

Bury me with this. Or cremate me and put my ashes inside of this copper-lined dream.

Long insulated and braided strands of copper. You should give them a try, Mike!  :P :P

For my interconnects, I'm using all Acoustic Research Master Reference digitals. Ollie's (the big odd-lots type store) had them on sale for $16 a set. Yes, I bought them all.

For speaker cable, just Monster OFC. I want to say it's 10 gauge. What you see is plastic cable sleeving. I'm totally OCD when it comes to cable clutter. I'm not a HUGE believer in super-high end cabling, but, please, let us not open that can of worms.  ;D ;Dm

Unfortunately, I do not.

They seem to get them in from time to time. I bought mine in two waves. If they're ever re-stocked and I see them, I'll be sure to pick them up for you.

Thanks SD,   I go to the Ollie's in Butler.. If I ever see them, I will be sure to buy them all..   Those are great Digital cables, I have 6' ones I use from the digital out of my CD players to feed the D/A converters in the Philips DFA-1000.   They outperform other hi-end cables I have from Tributaries, and Monster!!!

Ha. I'm actually using them to carry analog.

Once my bottom end feels a little better, I'll definitely make the trek up there. I had another procedure done over spring break. I don't think this is ever going to end.  :-X
