Title: Record Shows?
Post by: DJTommyK on April 06, 2010, 12:43:37 PM
Do we ever get any record shows in PGH?  I've done some digging online, but can't really find anything definitive.

Thanks for your help!

DJTOMMYK.

I DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR, BUT I HAVE A BUNCH OF 12' SINGLES FROM A RADIO STATION.  MANY ARE NOT EVEN OPEN.

Well, while I would be interested in looking at your singles, I was asking if there were any shows that came through town.  You know, like the comic book convention that comes through Monroeville 2 or 3 times a year?  Or the various gun shows, tattoo shows, etc etc.

Answered my own question.  Got in touch with a guy via email - there's a show at the Radisson Hotel Greentree on Sunday, May 2.  Goes from 10AM to 4PM, and admission is free.  Marty and I are going to head over there and see what's up.  Hope to find something worthwhile!

No, strangely the guy doesn't have a website.  He actually snail-mailed me a couple of flyers.  I can't imagine not having some kind of web presence in this day and age, but to each his own I guess.

Chilly Billy will be there signing autographs as well.
