Howdy folks,
First time here so I thought I'd stop by and say hi. Was encouraged to join this forum by a gentleman known as Tom.
Have been into audio since I was about 6 years old. As the years went by I got more and more into it. I have a small collection of things which are mostly vintage. I do have a soft spot for British equipment.
Version 2.0 Garbage is playing on a Marantz 2250B and Cerwin Vega D3 as I type this. Nothing too special but they are brands I find nostalgic.
These days I tend to collect and hoard gear if anything. I've recently found the more involved I get in the hobby. I meet more folks who share the love of audio and music. I have learned a lot of things through the years. But there are many things I still don't know or understand.
But perhaps the most important thing I've learned and enjoyed is the camaraderie in the hobby.
Very happy to be here. I feel very honored :)
Sincerely,
Brian

Welcome, Brian. Where do you call home and what types of music do you enjoy?
-
Thanks MacGeek! I call West Deer home.
Music, well I enjoy all kinds really. Favorite genre is Indie. I also enjoy jazz, punk, alternative, classic rock, easy listening, and so much more.

Yeah, this is my local home and that is my national home. I just recently picked up a pair of D3s at the thrift but haven't refoamed them yet so I can't comment on the sound. So many projects, so little time.
My avatar was originally created to be the "record label logo" for some nedledrops and restorations I had shared on line before the Blue Meanies drove that kind of thing so far underground.
