Now THAT was a good read.  I enjoyed it very much and it offered good advise.  I too went overboard with tweaks of years past.  But as I age and become more vintage myself I've learn to control my tweaking impulses.  The subject of speaker recapping has come up lately. While our opnions may differ our goals are the same....keeping good solid gear from the glory days of audio still alive.

I've read their comments before, my advice is to ignore most of it. A lot of babble and double talk.
