You mean that 550 watt Sony AVR might not be as powerful as they are stating in the ad's?  Those lier's!

The logarithmic power scale is magic to most people.  (Am sure @Sunnydaze will chime in and tell me I misspelled "logarithmic", but it is polyphonic).   8)
