I know I'm not on here a lot anymore, but wanted to throw this up so everyone was aware. Kingman was a big comic relief here and everywhere else, and he will be missed.
-
I still miss your dad. Thanks for letting us know.
-
Ah, sorry to hear this.. Kingman was a funny guy who contributed a lot to the board. Sad
-
Very sorry to hear... Does he have family? My condolences to them if he does...
Steve, Agree with STaL about your dad... :(

Never met the man, but was well entertained by him...RIP.
-
Very sad. He seemed to be a good hearted guy.
-
Thanks guys, I miss him too.
And yeah, Kingman had a family. A girlfriend, a son, some granddaughters who he had his picture taken with every day it seemed. He was a family man. And had a shit ton of pristine Carver gear. A bunch of CRM2's, M400 cubes, sunfire gear, Phase Linear turntable too I think. AL-3's were his primary speakers. His house was a treasure trove of Carver gear. And a GTO Judge in the garage.

From ad... "When new were $450 each." When was that? 1979?
I have the same speakers in birch and love them. I paid $250 in factory boxes and felt I did really well (and you know how cheap I am) so even though they are black, I still think that is a pretty good price.
