Title: Moving soon...Marantz Quad & Yammie Seperates
Post by: Coz on October 16, 2011, 02:29:00 PM
So I am moving soon and dread moving all my gear.
Gonna pare down the fleet so I can buy more stuff once we are settled.

Yamaha C-600 & CT-600 tuner  $125 picked up in Morgantown...$150 delivered to Washington, PA

Marantz 4230  $200 picked up in Morgantown...$225 delivered to Washington, PA

These units function fine, the CT-600 has a ding on the left front corner.  See pic.

Carl...

I emailed Josh yesterday.
He has not replied yet.
If I don't hear from him by Sunday, the Marantz is yours for $200 delivered to Da' Burg.

treitz3...

The KR-7050 is near mint.
The only mark on it can be seen just below the Marantz Bass knob.
$200 delivered to Pittsburgh.  I'll met you at Pittsburgh Vintage HiFi.

Oh, I thought you just got that one. I was actually kidding. Maybe I mixed you up with someone else who had an amp that looked just like that, dunno. I remember reading something on here about an amp that had some serious balls and one hell of a reputation......looked just like yours. Are you serious though?

Hell, I might consider it.

Not sure if the Marantz is or is not available. If it is I am interested.

Go for it OBG!  My wife's Christmas shopping spree and new tires for my car has broke my budget. :'(

That's a real nice Marantz receiver.  Get a wood case, deox all the pots, make sure all the bulbs work and you'll have a great piece.  Warm sounding, you can power from and rear speakers or use for an inside/outside speaker configuration for the Summer (my original plan).  Love that Marantz sound!

Update: It was the 9050 I was interested in for my dad, not the Kenwood I saw in the pic above. Tom actually has the 9050.
