Look what the Easter Bunny brought me!! ;D
Tested and working now. Only had to replace 2 lamps.
-
He also left this, which I have not tested yet (along w/a mint Garrard RC 88/4 and a custom cabinet).
-
Wow Very nice.

The Easter bunny didn't leave shit here. :o You must know the EB very well.
-
Wow, awesome gift! That little bastard only left me a case of beer.

Thanks Mikey,
I even got all the manuals. They are pretty wild. The amp has a built in xover at ~800 hz so you can use 1 channel for lows and the other for mid/highs (wish I had a pair!). Another interesting thing is the the DC Bias set procedure which calls for a signal generator/oscope or signal generator/ditortion analyzer and power resistors to set!
The radio discusses antennas for best signal reception, even suggesting a yagi arrays for distance reception. Seems to me that the general audio folks must have been better informed/equipped than today.
It is amazing what a bunch of carrots on the table can do. ;)

Very nice! Congrats!
Is that a 222B?

Thanks Carl,
299(a), 1st factory built in the 299 (17-20 watts/7891 output tubes)series and a 330c(third in the 330 series, 4 stage fm).

The only thing the EB left me was candy for the kids and a Wii game that we already have. So, I ended up making rabbit stew for lunch!!

Excellent sounding amp. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think you mean it uses the 7591 power tubes?
Which speakers are you going to use with that amp?
Great Easter gifts grom the crazy rabbit that's for sure! ;D

Carl,
We are both wrong, outputs are 7189. I have not decided on speakers yet, but I think the first will be Paradigm monitor 70p, and next will be some 50's vintage 12' 2-ways.

Finished! Durned if I know that rabbit got it here. Need a 60's cd player.
Listening to wyep in glorious 2 speaker mono! Please keep yours eys open for a fm mx adaptor, preferably Scott, but would try a fisher, hk, etc.

A perfect fit!
A gorgeous retro system!
