Title: Hafler DH 500
Post by: EmperorNorton on June 05, 2017, 11:45:45 AM
I bought a Hafler 500 at local estate sale.  It is replacing my Parasound HC1000.  Currently listening to 'Blood on the Tracks" on CD.  Very nice musical detail and clean low bass.

Friend of mine runs one also. I concur with your analysis. Great amp!

I assume it bests the Parasound by a decent margin?  Always liked the sound of those old Haflers.

It seems to have a much "bigger" sound, which makes sense, as its twice the power.
