Title: Some obscure Receivers and a console amp.
Post by: Wintec on July 10, 2010, 03:35:42 AM
Well, I have a couple receivers and an amp that I know nearly nothing about. Out of any piece of vintage gear I get, these are always my favorite because of how odd and obscure they are :D I know a little bit about the wintec, but cannot find ANYTHING on the Magnavox and Voxson pictured. Has anybody heard of the Magnavox or Voxson before?
The gear listed in order:
1) Wintec R1015
2) Magnavox Stereo 1500
3) Voxson Stereo 240, 34 WPC
Any info would be greatly appreciated! :D

The Wintec had me stumped. :o :o :o :o  I did find that the company was around from 1977 to approx 1983.  The receiver you have is 15 wpc into 8 and was made from 1978 to 1982. It retailed for $230. From what I can see, they made two cats before going belly up. 1)  model A-2160 integrated amp.  160wpc $700. 2) R-1120 Receiver. 120wpc $900. 8)
