My mom has this exact radio in her basement... It is working and in a little better shape than this one...
Two questions...
1. How much do you think it is REALLY worth?
2. Would anyone be interested?
Not saying she IS selling, but looking into it...

Actually I have the chassis for that radio in my basement.
Unfortunately console radios don't sell for much around here.
I bought a better radio in about the same shape for $25.

You make a good point Anders. Some of the early consoles that go around here for next to nothing command big cash elsewhere, especially Asia.

Oh God, please, no more consoles! I'm patient and accepting of Anders' collection, however, we have plenty of consoles and not enough home for them. I agree though, he's found some nice ones for a lot less than that one is selling for. I think sometimes people just equate old with worth $$$$ and it's just not the case, at least not here. gdv, is your mom's radio in the same condition? Condition matters quite a bit too.
