The Preamp is a Carver Silver-1 Tube PROTOTYPE preamp.
There are only 2 of them in existance.
The outside tubes are the Silver-6 (prototype) tube amps, and the inner pair of tubes are the Silver-9 (prototype) amps.

Beautiful!!  Just freakin' beautiful.  Now Al Gore can be all over you about Global Warming!!   You could melt all the snow in CNY (and Pittsburgh for that matter!!) :P   I am in awe!!! :o
