I just wanted to say hello, and say I'm glad I found the forum....
"audiophile" lol from the early 70s thru the late 90s... then college tuitions etc. made the decision for me to part with the equipment I had bought, sold and traded my way up too lol (sound familiar?)... back into audio for the last couple of years... and have put together a very nice (to my ears) HT system, which included my beloved Denon DP-60L turntable. Of course the DP-60 died 5 months later lol Ended up with a new Clearaudio table & cartridge and I'm back into vinyl in a big way!!!.... Have written a few articles on the re-education and selection process etc for Musicianshotsheet.com ( if you are bored or need a laugh search for turntable on the site).
I hope someone will let me know the date/time/ location of the next meeting.... and I'm always glad to host myself.... have had two Vinyl nights at the house within the last year.... and had way too much fun!

My Denon DP-59L with a Denon 103R is sounding as good as ever. If you like vinyl you've come to the right place. Glad you joined the maddness!

Hey - welcome! Are you a neighbor of mine? I am in Cedarbrook Ct. McMurray. Are you going to the meeting tomorrow?

I was just joshing ya. Meetings are usually Saturday nights at the shop!

Welcome. This place can motivate constant purchasing of gear we want but don't need.

thanks for the nice greetings..... needed to find some folks to talk too, since my neighbors and other friends just don't "get it" lol Which I'm sure is not a common problem here lol of course they don't get my motorcycles etc either...
Yep, we have 120V AC out here in the boonies and it is actually pretty steady (that's a story to share) source so I don't have to do a lot of hand cranking ....
And yes OldiesButGoodies, I am a neighbor of yours... I live off of the other side of Center Church Rd., Clubview/Lisa Ct
I had committments Saturday... but will try and attend the next meeting ... and I was sincere in my offer to host as long as people bring some of their favorite vinyl. I even have a patchwork 7.1 system in my garage along with a pinball machine and most importantly a fridge that is always stocked with beer.
