You had to use an engine jack to lift the marble slab?  Damn.   >:D  Very impressive, and it looks amazing.  Congratulations.

Looks great!  How much does that slab weigh?  Any thoughts of filling the legs? ;)

Obviously it would be a pain in the ass to move it back out but if you take that slab to a place that does granite countertops they can roundover the edges and polish it for you. Probably wouldn't charge too much.

I thought about that,
it weighs 155lbs, 2 guys can pick it up.
but when i did this it was over the thanksgiving weekend.
plus I wanted to try the hoist in the living room, just to say...
have you ever done this...LOL
