Come and listen. Plus all the other usual geek meeting stuff. These amps are the daddy of the new Bob 305's.

BrianT, forum member, snatched them up.  They will be going to Carverfest in 2 weeks.

The Geek Meetings are at Vintage Hifi on most Saturdays and well.....almost every night of the week it seems from time to time.

3380 Babcock Blvd.
Pittsburgh, PA 15237
412-369-8823

I think Tom will be at the shop after 3pm and most tend to show up after 5pm and stay till....well.....we feel like leaving or we run out of beer.

Haha, awesome!  I will definitely be stopping in tomorrow for problems with a receiver I got off CL and probably looking at what all is available.

Tom.

They do look real nice, wish I could be there to see them and hear them.
Looks like I am going to have to wait until Carverfest to see them, but I get to take them home   ;D ;D ;D

Can you see if "The Reverend" can make some patch cords to go from the speaker terminal and terminate
in 5 way binding post, that was I can use my River Current Speaker Cables without chopping off the banana plugs.

BTW. I told Tom (T3), if he get's the Wilson's he can borrow these to drive them, if not they will be in our cabin.

Brian

My amp sounds better when the points of reference are inferior.  Why screw up a good thing? This esoteric amps will ruin my ears foreever,  so no thanks.

...Will be interesting to hear them. 575 watt per channel amps hooked to speakers that handle 12 watts or less. Sounds like a BLAST!!!!!  :P

I went to Jerry's Records today and splurged on a 9 LPs,  so I will have fun listening to that here.  I have to hit Tom's to bring him the Luxman and get my RT-707,  but I am planning on doing that Tuesday night.

 ;D

Pepe, next time you are at Jerry's check out Aiello's pizza.

Speaking of, I'm at my parents house tonight. I'll be dining on some magnificent Jake's think crust pizza pie.

Should have asked before going.  Was hungry when I finished shopping.  The store was great - prob the best selection of vinyl I have seen.  Listen to Boston right now... ;)

Go up the hill another block to Napoli's.   Much better.

Pepe, I was at the Goodwill and found (another) strong VG+ Wally gatefold of Boston's "Don't Look Back".   I see you have the first album but didn't mention this one.   I already have a NM Wally promo, but I couldn't just leave it there to get destroyed.   Do you want it?   I could (probably, I don't want to be presumptuous) leave it at the shop for you to get at your convenience.
