Subject line sez it all, looking for "OLAs" in walnut veneer with the rounded bullnose front, and/or Dynaco A25s.
Thanks for the help!

Good luck on your search. I have two pairs of the NLAs. Those have the bullnose front too. The OLAs are a very confusing line. You had vinyl, utility, bullnose (slight. Not fully rounded like the NLAs). It's hard to find a solid answer on the Advent line. I love mine. Super simple crossover....a single cap to crossover the high freg with a resistor to level match with the woofer which only uses a single inductor.. Aka a first order cross over. One of the few crossover designs with minimum phase shift. Good luck. Hopefully you'll find a pair already refoamed. Tom did mine and they work great. Make sure you use proper the proper foam surrounds if you do your own refoam.

Thanks for the reply! Yes - finding a pair locally without having to pay shipping off the 'bay is the challenge!

Be patient, they will come up locally. I bought two pairs of OLAs and two pairs of A25s locally while living in Pgh.

Might these work?

I was going to say the same, I have seen quite a few ads for the large advents as of late.
-
Thanks guys for the replies, was hoping someone from here might have a working pair to sell.
More often than not, like 99% of the time IMHO, PGH C-L has some dubious ads where I think sellers are just harvesting e-mail addresses than seriously selling something.
Oh well, search can continue. Maybe someone will have some at the next Memorial Day swap meet?

Ops...just noticed his price....bit steep. He'll realize sooner or later

Never saw the ad, but it's gone now.

I found a pair of Bullnose NLAs at the thrift today. They need refoamed and refinished, and have no grills, but if you want a project I would let them go for $50 now. That price will quadruple at least after I work on them.
-
That should say "Bullnose OLAs". Or should it? Now I'm confused. How does one tell the difference between an OLA and a NLA?
-
Okay, they are bullnose NLAs. They do NOT have the masonite on the woofer or tweeter.
