Title: Magnepan Tympani 1D
Post by: non-prophet on January 31, 2011, 10:48:22 PM
I figured I would give you guys a shot at these speakers before I put them on the open market.  They are a three panel (bass, mid, treble) speaker measuring in at 6' tall by about 4' wide each.  They are in good working order but the bass wires are pulling away at the edges making the buzzing noise at mid to high volumes.  I am pretty sure the mid and treble sections are fine.  Also, I took a clothe grill off (one panel) and now I cant find it.  These speakers were about $2200 in the late 70's and early 80's. trades will be considered.  Last pair comparable to mine sold for $600 on eBay.  I really dint want to ship these.  Let me know.  Thank you, Nick

Great price, Thegreek!

Wow -- so that makes my SMGa's like $15?  (kidding, maybe?!)

I see you have CS2's.  I lust for Thiels!  :thumbup
