Title: Delmonico TFM-99U table top tube radio
Post by: bmwr75 on June 14, 2011, 07:26:16 PM
I picked up one of these recently for next to nothing.  All the tubes light up, but no sound.  Looks like there is a broken resistor on the underside.

Anders, is this thing worth fixing?

Time to test the tube-testing machine Tom bought!  Bring em tubes to the store and go to town!

Broken resistor may have been caused by a shorted filter cap.
But sometimes the resistor just goes.
I could have a quick look at it and let you know if its worth it or not.
