Hello all,
Was wondering if anybody has seen or heard these before? See pics. Any guesses to the brand?
Will reveal more later.

No clue. How do they sound?
-
Don't know how they sound yet, still cleaning them up. Will be bringing them up on a variac tomorrow, if all goes well will have a report in the next day or so. The speakers/amps are designed to work together with 6 6v6 tubes driving the Bass drivers and 2 6v6 driving the treble, actively crossovered in the amps. If they sound half as good as they are reputed, they should really be something.
This American manufacturer owned the patent on electrodynamic speakers using moving coils at the turn of the 1900s, while Jensen was working for them. They started in the commercial world, and their system was used to amplify a 1919 Wilson speech.

In my Pop's day (I am 19) Magnavox was the Cat's ass for most people.
Back then instead of ipods, most people with money had a Magnavox console stereo.
They sounded --- GREAT !!!

I can not believe how good of cosmetic condition they appear for being that old!!
Beautiful. :o :o
