Post by: OldiesButGoodies on June 30, 2011, 09:17:45 PM
These are great sounding speakers,  I am hesitant to post them here, I have had them for 2 years or so - before that Ed had them for 8 years (Ed:  comment on these please!). They are incredibly good and I am offering them at at a great price so I can upgrade de $2K speakers that may or may not sound better.  Carefully maintained, butyl surround was resealed six moths ago on all woofers. Come by and listen to them - if they do not blow you away do not buy them!

Here are the specs:

2-5 1/2" Polypropylene woofers
38Hz-22kHz Frequency response
30Hz usable bass response
84dB sensitivity in an anechoic chamber
88db in a normal room]
6 ohm nominal impedance, 4 ohms minimum
50-150 watts RMS per channel as recommended amplifier power
150 watts maximum power handling
39.75" H x 10.125" W x 8.25" D

They are great speakers. They will out perform speakers costing alot more. The bass is exceptional giving the fact it's being performed by a pair of 5.25" woofers per cabinet.

Thanks for the support SS - it is hard to describe how good these sound without actually auditioning them.  OBG.
