Title: Value of Philips CD-80?
Post by: tchotchkesan on July 15, 2011, 07:15:36 PM
I'm about to sell off some stuff that I don't use anymore, including a Philips CD-80.

Not sure what to ask as a fair and reasonable price. It's stock/unmodified, in xlnt condition cosmetically and mechanically except for a quirk that it needs to warm up for a few minutes before playing. It comes with the remote, manual and original box (I think I have the box).

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Checking the reviews it is a very nice player. As I only buy on the cheep, good luck with getting top dollar!!!  ;D

You are prob in the $225-$275 range with the quirk. Do you have the transport locks?  VERY important if you ship.

BTW  -  If any one has any idea where I can get a pair of transport locks for the CD-80,  I am searching for a pair, please let me know.

[Tom - this is to buy,  I know you can loan me yours if I need to move mine - just want to have a pair to go with the player]
