Post by: non-prophet on December 22, 2011, 09:27:56 PM
a real nice integrated amp with phono, i think its rated at 70X2.  In  good shape and works great, sometimes shuts off at high volume, but it was driving Thiel CS2 speakers.  No remote.  $75

Wasn't this the unit that was destroyed by Sparky Griswold as the ice from the gutter flew through the window of the neighbors (Julia Dreyfuss) and destroyed the B&O system?

The B&O in the video is not a 6000 or 8000.  Might be a 2400 or 9000 system.  $75.00 is a great price.  The high volume shut down is probably the protection circuts doing their job.  I thought the 6000 also has a tuner.

Very funny story: My girlfriend's uncle swears that the item smashed in Christmas Vacation by the flying ice was the worlds first DVD player. I don't have the heart to tell him that it's a B&O.
