Hey everybody,
This is Dan, the new intern (a.k.a. the speaker refoaming and heavy box moving slave). You've probably met me if you've been in the shop in the last two weeks otherwise you will soon.
I just graduated from pitt with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and while I search for my dream job I'm helping out around the shop and trying to learn as much as possible.
I just got into hifi but I think I'm doing pretty well with my first stereo setup; I've got a Carver C-1 and TFM-22 (both Tom mods) powering some Definitive StudioMonitor 450s which I really enjoy.
Thought you guys might like some ambient tree music: YEARS (http://vimeo.com/30501143)

Welcome to the funny farm. It was good meeting you last Saturday. Stay away from forklifts...
-
Welcome and ditto on the forklifts...oh and...do you have an affinity for Reuben sandwiches? This is important to know.
-
Welcome Dan. This is (young) Ed. Nice tree music.
-
Welcome Dan! That is a nice system you have. I like the sound of Carver and DT!

Howdy Dan!!! :D

Hiya Dan,, welcome aboard

Howdy again. Hope you enjoyed wing night yesterday.

Yet another f'n engineer, holy hell. Can you drive a forklift?
Welcome to the madhouse.

Greetings DAn!
Welcome to the Forum! Engineering and Audio is a wonderful combination ;D
-
Thanks for the welcome everybody. Just to clear things up: I don't care for reubens and if I was bringing a case of beer to the shop I would definitely choose my honda civic over a fork lift.
-
You're fired. ;D
-
I've had a pair of Definitive 350s for a number of years now and like them very much. Welcome
