I'm looking for a deck. Don't know a ton about them, but wouldn't mind a Carver, Nakamichi, or something similar.
Thanks!

I have a few...
Had a Nakamichi 7A and a Dragon, but long gone...
Looking for a double well or single? From your posting I guessing the single NEC cassette deck I have, might be what you are looking for...
I believe the other brands I still have are Pioneer, Sony, Onkyo, and I forget what else... 8)
Let me know...

It is an NAD 6340 (not a NEC) If I got $30, I would be a happy camper!!! ;D

I have a Pioneer CT-F1250 but it is not in low end of the price range and Tom will be pissed that I am even trying to sell it. Andres restored it. pM if interested. :)

I have a barely used Pioneer CT-W60DR dual tape deck (mfd Jan 1997). It's not high end, but it might hold you over until you find the unit you want...

Are you going to use the deck for recording or playback only? If you have no interest in recording, something like this Onkyo will do just fine. If you want to record, look for a 3 head model.
