I know Jerry at Jerry's Records... if the group would like, I can see if I can arrange an outing there? Nothing agains 1/2 Price Books but Jerry's has 100,000 times the inventory!...and Jerry has been a supporter of vinyl for decades. Let me know if there is any interest.... up to you....

I'd be interested in a field trip to Jerry's if I'm up to it the day of the field trip. I've lived in my house in Squirrel Hill for 23 years and I've never been to Jerry's.  Is it possible to navigate there with a walker with a seat on it?

Jim, we all love Jerry's, and The Attic, but HPB is around the corner from the shop and Eric is a member here.

ahhhhhh.... that's why I asked....

Next time I talk with Jerry, I'll check on access and also see if he has any ideas that won't hurt Eric / HPB... or I'll just drop it entirely.

Hey Carl and Mark,
Though I greatly appreciate it I'm probably better off passing on a trip to Jerry's at least at this point.  I'm very weak and can't take a chance of having a mishap on the steps.

No problem Mark.  Unfortunately I've gotten quite used to it.  Luckily it's not like I don't have plenty to listen to.  Lately I haven't felt well enough to move around much (like flipping LPs or tapes) so I have been more dependent on HD FM and the various on line services...Turd Server, Spotify, Pandora.  Carl loaned me a mix tape on a 10-1/2" reel that is most enjoyable.  At least with the big reels there is 90 minutes per side at 7-1/2ips.  I will say that at this time of my life I really appreciate my stereo and my music collection.  Without music I'd lose my mind.
