Title: C-9 Surprise - Thank You
Post by: OldiesButGoodies on October 03, 2013, 06:13:33 PM
Just a quick note to say THANK YOU to Tom for getting me a Carver C-9 dedicated and autographed by the Bob man himself.  Best birthday gift ever.  I had been haunting Tom about letting me buy this C-9 from him for some time and was a bit puzzled when he refused to.  He had a plan, I see now.  Thanks man!

PS - This is one piece that will never see ebay!

cool stuff.  Tom is full of surprises, that's for sure!
As soon as BJ gets my face plate mounted onto my Phase Linear 400 I'll post a photo.  It was signed by "the Bob" at Foodfest...I mean Carverfest.

Hey Pepe,
Check out the Carver site for an explanation of how it works in "the Bob's words".  Try listening to baseball with it on.  It can be quite interesting.  As others have said it makes some pieces really interesting and trashes others.  I listen to a lot of classical and it can really sound wonderful with the right pieces.
Have fun!
