Jefferey Jackson (of Eleven Horns) turned wood Le Cleac'h horns, 1500 Hz recommended crossover point. Homemade aluminum stands with exotic wood bass. BIC 1" drivers currently mounted. The horns sell for $900 new, the Bic drivers sell for $200 new..I am looking for $500 for these

These horns feature the Le Cleach curve and you would not believe the imaging. Hands down my favorite

The horns on the walnut veneer bass bins
Walnut bass bins with 12" kappalite neo LF drivers, internal 1500Hz 2nd order crossover wired with 47 labs wire and obligatto oil caps. This was my buddy's "learn to veneer project". I will sell them for quite a bit less than the cost of the eminence drivers and crossover parts, consider the cabinets free.... I am looking for $400 for the bass bins

The bass bins also have lpads installed, here they are with the AH horns which are interchangeable

BJ, here's as example of an in expensive horn system you can build:

$110.15
B&C ME10 1" Hyperbolic Cosine Horn 90x60 2-Bolt
Part # 294-618
Parts Express Speaker L-Pad Attenuator 100W Mono 3/8" Shaft 8 Ohm

$94.90
Eminence Delta-15LFA 15" Low Frequency Driver

You would need everything times 2. These are the parts express bass bins in this picture with the Emminence and BC drivers. You could use these horns until you find a nicer pair. I do have a pair of Smith's horns that would fit as well.
Just giving you some ideas

Though you can get these from Gary Gill for $600 new plus shipping.
I have heard this driver on the Sousa horn and with a bass bin it is a really nice set up. It will play a lot louder than the Lowther set up I use. The Lowther drivers are $3k a pair the Tang bands are $400.
